Small talk is the bane of my existence. Such popular phrases as ‘Got much planned for the weekend’ ‘Whats new’ ‘What did you do today’ ‘How you going’ make my brain sigh. Such ordinary trivial conversation although it is seen as relevant and seen as ‘bonding’ is just really annoying.

Working at a servo really makes me hate phatic communion with the intensity of a 1000000 suns.
I served a man the other day who asked for directions heading up the coast. Looking at his van I noticed a Victorian number plate on it so I commented about what a long trip he must be on, he replied telling me he is a nomad.
This will probably sound ridiculous but I think I will probably lead a similar lifestyle. Kind of makes sense too as I can’t commit to anything and constantly moving from one place then leaving for another is something I really enjoy. I would be pretty content for my life to be like that, as opposed to feeling anxious whenever I think about routine.
